Sug & Tink...

Bubba's mom came up to go fishing and we took her out a few times. This was one time when she and Tink were concentrating on watching the cork. D & B

Me and the Crappie..

We went out fishing and I caught the biggest crappie! WOOHOO! He deserved a kiss! We did have a really good time. D & B

Dave and the Fish

So our Yankee friends are starting to come through on their way home. This is Dave, he and his wife Joyce live in Minnesota. But he loves to fish and catch some crappie. D & B

The Boys...

Marty and Bubba in the boat on the way back from fishing. We were so glad Marty came in from El Paso. Notice that Buffer Doodle is sticking her head out to check up on things. D & B

Marty and the Fish...

Marty came to visit and of course we just had to go fishing! I do have to admit that he caught the first fish...but he did not catch the most. Hmmmm....I wonder who did? D & B

OH the fish...

Bubba is doing what Bubba does best....clean fish! What nice crappie he has! AND they were so good! D & B

Instant Lawn!

Debbie & David brought us 2 pallets of grass to do the back yard! Instant lawn! Yeah! That helps so much with the sand the dogs kept bringing in. D & B

Ducks, Ducks...

Well the ducks have arrived and they seem to like the bird food. I have gone out and bought some 'floating fish food' and they really like that too. D & B

Beautiful Day...

A beautiful day on the lake and the best way to spend it is in the boat... trying to catch a fish. As Bubba would say 'a bad day fishing beats a good day at work everytime!' D & B

Fishing already!

He has a fishing pole in his hand already! If there were only fish around, it would make his day. D & B

Boat Dock

New Bulkhead

These men are working on the new bulkhead. Tomorrow the dirt will arrive to back fill in behind it. Then they will start on the pier. D & B

Guest bedroom

This is the guest bedroom...I've just about got it finished. I need to get the curtains done and then this room will be ready for company. D & B

Dinning room

This is the dinning room, and as you can see...I'm still finding places to put everything. D & B

Kitchen

So we moved in, but some little things still need to be finished. This is the kitchen. I've still boxes to unpack.

Lighting

So I went to Lowe's and bought the light fixtures. And this wasn't all of them! D & B

Tile

OK, I know I have been remiss, but moving in has taken it's toll. I will try to catch up tonight. This is when they were doing the tile, and the walls are painted. D & B

Paint and Granite..

So now comes the painting, and the granite was laid. It looks really good.

Cabinets, cabinets and more cabinets.... These are more cabinets in the nook that is in our bedroom. A desk will fit under the window for my computer. D & B
