Ok, so I have this plant that I thought was a wisteria, but it's not. I went out today and it had blooms all over it. They look like wisteria blooms but are maroon in color. The bush smells wonderful and the smell is all over the back yard. Does any one know what this is? Thanks D & B

We went out fishing with Clark and we caught quite a few catfish. But this baby was our big surprise. It is VERY hot here. Today was 100, tomorrow is 102. Fall is only 6 weeks away! D & B

We get out of the hospital, our 2nd stay, and what do we have to do??? Have a mud bug feast! We cooked 40lbs of crawfish, 4 lbs shrimp, corn on the cob and new potatoes! Yum! It is a lot of work, so it only gets done once a year. D & B

Bubba in the hospital

Bubba had to go into the hospital and was in there for 10 days. He is doing well now and he is back to his old self! All of that didn't have anything to do with the cancer. Thank you all for the prayers said in his behalf. They worked and God is Good! D & B

So Saturday we went up the creek and did a little crappie fishing. Bubba really need a little R & R. Bubba is holding up his catch minus one. I caught the rest...total 13 crappie and 2 catfish! Did I point out that I caught more than he did? D & B

It is Memorial Day weekend...Les and Sonny and Bubba go fishing for White Bass, only Les catches a 25 lb Yellow Catfish. It was huge! They did catch some white bass and one crappie, but the yellow cat was the catch of the day! That Les is so lucky when it comes to fishing! D & B

It's a beautiful day in Rockport! So we had a fish fry! Did we catch the fish??? No! Ann did! a 44 inch Red! and he was really good! Some of our Winter Texan friends came. Snow in Southeast Texas! We were surprised with some of the white stuff! We always have a colder than normal winter after a hurricane, and we got it. It was really fun since we hardly ever see any snow. The day warmed up and all of the snow has melted away. But it was fun while it lasted! D & B
